About Stephen Hayes
Stephen Hayes has worked in so many areas of the equestrian industry, including work riding extremely expensive flat race horses bred from some of the best breeders in the UK, and owned by some of the most highly respected people in the racing industry. As the majority of horses ranged from two year olds to seven year old thoroughbreds, the level of difficulty in handling and riding such highly strung horses increases immensely. Stephen Hayes has that knowledge of understanding of how thoroughbreds think and move which gives his eventing clients such a upper hand. Stephen Hayes also has his British Horse Society stages, qualifications lead by a huge organisation in the UK, which evaluates and tests participants in horse care, handling, riding and coaching to the highest of standards.
Stephen Hayes was also the main dressage rider for 'Two Mills Sport Horses', Mike Jones was British dressage national champion and owner of this barn. Stephen gained such a wealth of knowledge of training young horses, not only within the educating aspect but putting all that into action during young horse cIasses in some of the UK’s finest equestrian show centres.
He has also intensely trained with Spain's number one dressage rider Beatriz Ferrer-Salat located at the prestigious 'Villa Equus' in Barcelona, Spain who’s had such massive success with her 2016 Rio horse ‘Delgardo’. Beatrice took Stephen under her wing for over a year. Stephen’s title involved riding many of Beatrice’s competition and sales horses. Coached multiple times throughout the day, Stephen rapidly gained a huge amount of knowledge and experience with highly motivated PRE horses and world class warmbloods owned by Beatrice Ferrer Salat. She has attended the European Equestrian Games, World Equestrian Games and the Athens, GB and Rio Olympic Games, Stephen continues to have strong relations with Beatrice, and is extremely grateful for the countless opportunities she gave him.

And competing successfully twice a month on a variety of Vicki Thompson's own competition horses, all imported from Germany/ Holland.
